Just saying hi!
Hello everyone!
I had a laproscopic RNY on September 21st, 2009. I am doing pretty well with it and am healing great. I'm really careful with what I eat and I am sure to measure everything out. I do realize the surgery is a tool to help us lose weight, I recognized that before I had surgery. I just had a hard time losing on my own which was why I had the surgery. I have started some light exercising and I also use a website titled sparkpeople.com to track what I eat to make sure I am getting enough protein in. Some days are better than others; this week I don't seem to want to eat at all, but I do, obviously. I'm just not hungry and my stomach doesn't seem to want food. LOL I have my 6 week post-op appointment next week so I will ask my surgeon about it if it continues.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and am looking forward to meeting others going through the same thing I am.
