Pouch

Hi all... The past 2 months I've been able to tell where my pouch sits. When I eat to much which isn't that often It feels really pronounced and weird. Is it common to be able to tell where it's located? I have all the gas movement in it too. Sometimes I swear I have a fetus and it's moving. Such odd movements and feelings. Just wondering if I'm unique to this or is it common.

Thanks... Shari

I don't know if it is normal or not.  I don't think I know where mine sits like you said, but sometimes I can feel the food/gas moving through.  When I lay down and feel around my belly I can feel it, but maybe I'm just not paying so much attention to it... LOL...

Now, I'll probably pay a lot more attention to it!  :o)

Oh Shari! You crack me up! The fetus thing made my morning! I've been able to feel the pouch since about 6 months after surgery (when I was down almost 100 lbs.) I remember feeling like an alien was inside me as well! I was told that we know it's there now because the fatty layers aren't there, and because we are mentally more in tune with our bodies. Because I'm a little wierd sometimes, I like to make my pouch and stomach "talk" by forcing my stomach muscles in and out to get a squeeking, gurgling, groaning noise. It's fun to do at work to annoy those around me who are grossed out easily!   I should try out for America's Got Talent!!   Take care, Shari!  Let's get some warm weather soon!

Well I'm glad to know I'm not the only freak out there that can feel the pouch : ) I can make mine move and gurrgle too. Maybe we can join the freak show or be in the Circus Parade in downtown Milwaukee in July. Wouldn't that be fun?

Let's hope it's warmer by then but I won't hold my breath. We had frost last night.
