I got tired of waiting for the insurance company(1 Month), so I called them today.  I told her that I was waiting for precert on a surgery and she looked into my file.  She said"the one for May 12" and I said May 12, she says the bariatric surgery. I said yes and she said I was approved and the letters went out  on 4/14. I am going to call the surgeons office tomorrow.  I hope I don't sound pushy, but I am so excited.

I was hoping for that same conversation when I called insurance on Monday-but I wasn't so lucky!!  Hopefully by the end of this week. If not, the waiting game will continue through extra innings into next week!!  
And don't worry about sounding too pushy, its your life!  And if your clinic is as nice as mine is, they should be happy to take that call!!
