I hopefully will be able to schedule my surgery at my next appt on March 5th and wanted to see if there was anyone out there who has had the pleasure ( I hope) of working with him

Hi i dont have silverhaus but i am in that group and i have Dr. Regan! i am scheduled for my procedure on the 23rd of March.  I havent met any of the other sugeons in this group but i know Dr. Regan is very nice, real and to the point!  I have heard nothing but good and great things about the other surgeons and how nice they are as well.  I actually was with a different surgeon and group and changed to this one because i felt as though they were more RESPECTFUL, nice, helpful and keeping things real and sinseable.  Now, how they will be towards me AFTER the procedure, i guess i will find that out soon :), but as of now i have nothing but good things to say about this group.

That's good to hear. I love all the staff so far. I have my appt scheduled after my upper endo on March 3rd and then I'll hopefully be able to schedule a surgery date. How long from your last appoint did it take to get your date?

Well if you have all your pr-op tests done, you could get your date at your last appointment with the doctor.  and if your egd is scheduled it is going to take some days i think it depends on whos doing your egd procedure before the results get to the doctor. they say about 5-7 days i think or 10-14, but if i asked the people how long will it be before the results are in when i had mine done, and i think they told me about 7 to 10 days but it was done before then.  I think about 5 days or something like that because nothing was wrong.

I had Dr. Siverhus and I think he is a great dr. He is very kind and if you have any questions he is more than willing to answer them. I have confidence in him which I did not have with a prior surgeon that I started the process with.  I had my last appt in mid-March and am scheduled for surgery on May 5th. The only reason that it took so long was we waited for the insurance approval before scheduling a date because it was the second time we submitted. But as soon as we had the approval we set the date on the same phone call.

Well my surgery is now set for Tuesday the 21st. I like him too, just wanted to know who else was out there. Do you go to the support groups? Good luck!

I have a couple of times but I am trying to make the meetings more regular. Maybe I'll see you there.

After surgery I'm hoping to get to a few, but once I go back to work I won't be able too because I currently work second. Do you find them helpful?
