Hey Wisconsinites! Where did you have your "Last Supper(s)"??

I realize this is kind of a no-no, but did you go out before your surgery to have one big, delicious last meal? I'm still pre-op and was thinking about some of the places I'd like to go that I know I won't be able to have 'til quite some time after the surgery.

Any suggestions?

Jules

I'm thinking about Golden Corral or Kodiak Jacks. i'm leaning toward the Corral because it has both fried chicken and thick steaks - let's not forget homemade mashed potatoes. I'm thinking this is a bad subject for me right now. LOL

Yum! I love mashed potatoes! With lots of butter, a little salt and pepper.  We're never gonna eat like this again, so I'd go to both! I've never been to either of those places, but they sound good. Sorry to bring up a bad subject!

Take care!

I think I had about a week of "last suppers", including the chinese buffet, Olive Garden, a local Mexican joint with FABULOUS margarita's, a wonderful steak supper club, and, of course, Dairy Queen to boot!  Still haven't been back to Dairy Queen!

That reminds me, I should indulge in an adult beverage or two soon!

When I was talking about this with my hubby, I listed at least five places! Red Robin, New Star, Melting Pot, and Giordano's (or Uno's) Pizza. It's a good thing I'm done with my pre-op diet! I'm just waiting on insurance approval.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I had a BIG steak at prime quarter and an awesome desert. Stuff I still can eat now. Don't worry your eating days are not over. You just have alot of left overs.

best Mexican food in Sheboygan!  Not Tex-Mex either!  Fantastic food!

I suggest where I had mine, Jose's Blue Sombrero off of Bluemound Rd connected to the La Quinta, absolutely the best mexican food I have ever had.  I haven't had food now for damn near a month!  Just the EAS shakes.

I've been looking for a good Mexican place around here! I will definitely try it. My sister lives in Waukesha, so I believe it's just around the corner from there. Thanks for the suggestion!
