workout groups or buddy?
Hope you're feeling better lately, Neil? I think you'll feel a lot better when the weather gets better and you can exercise. What do they say? Time heals all wounds? It's corny, but it is kinda true.
I used to live on High St. WAY back when I was going to UW-O. Fitting.
I'm thinking if I go every day...on M, W and F I'll lift weights..and T, Th do the arm bike...and Sat, maybe a little of both.
My whole life seems to revolve around the Y lately. I have been going twice daily. I do an hour on the treadmill, 30 minutes on stairmaster and 30 minutes on elliptical; evenings I will do more stairmaster and resistance training. I am maid of honor in a wedding (on my 41st Bday, actually) in June and I will NOT be looking at the pictures and thinking, "dammit. I should have tried to lose more weight." I admit to being obsessive.
I gained weight after having my surgery reversed and then having a partial hysterectomy. Well, actually, I gained weight after they did a CTscan on me... and didn't pay attention to the fact that I am highly allergic to the dye. And then I almost kicked the bucket... steroids, yadda yadda. 30 pounds gained in 3 months. Yeah, THAT made me happy. Especially since it's right on my medical chart that I am highly allergic to the dye. Apparently I got one of the illiterate techs that day or something. So, anyway, I am not going to give up. So I have made it my life's mission to get back to where I wanna be weight-wise. (I FEEL SO SO SO much better than I did when I had the band on my guts, anyway. No reason I can't workout like a freak!)
Sometime I will meet up with you at the downtown Y.
