I am starting to get my kitchen ready--- and am curious to your preferences for creating our yummy smooth puree meals!  I never have had to do it before.

Food Processor?  Blender? anyone try the Magic Bullet?  Please advise! lol

I hated baby food, but fell in love with my stick blender! It's one of those immersable hand-held blenders that I use for everything from smoothies, to protein drinks, to soups!  I use it all the time!  Right now I'm additcted to my low calorie tomato basil soup.  1 can salt-free diced tomatoes, 3/4 can chicken broth, italian seasoning, fresh basil. Simmer on the stove for about 15 minutes. Use the stick blender and blend it up until smooth.  It's fabulous!

MMMM That sounds fabulous. I'm a tomato soup lover . I will have to try your recipe.
P.S baby food with some salt andf pepper helps it go down : )

I picked up a black & decker food chopper (approx 1 cup) for around $10 at walmart.  Works great.
