I HAVE A DATE! YEAH!!!

September 25th is the big day!!!

I am very excited.  My only glitch now is that I have just 3 weeks to do my best in getting my blood glucose in control. 

Congratulations!  Dr Engstrand is awesome!  My surgery was the 19th of August and I am doing well.  My thoughts are with you!   ~~ Cindy

Yes, I will be at the meeting on Wednesday.  I'm shooting for the front row if I get there early enough... I am always surprised how many people come to those.  Will I see you?

Yes we did!  Sylvia found me and we sat together. It was a good meeting even though the speaker for the evening never showed up.  At the next meeting I'll be able to go with the post-op group!  YEAH!

I was with the pre-ops last night and it was pretty interesting but I didn't think our group leader should have been a group leader when he hadn't been to a meeting in over 2 years and doesn't follow any of the guidelines or eat in any way that I was told we would have to eat. So I didn't think he should be giving advice to pre-ops who know nothing. However, he still had a lot of good information to offer and could answer questions. I just wouldn't listen to him when it came to food.

I'm looking forward to meeting you next month.  ;o)
