Hi Cindy!

I am so sorry for making you worry. My inlaws surprised us with a visit. They drove from Canada to be here and stayed for 8 days. I haven't been on the computer much at all, and just saw this message. I have to say I always forget to check the Wisconsin board.

I am still not feeling well, but, have lost 28 pounds on my three week liquid pre op diet. My surgery is in 3 more days and I am terribly nervous.

Good Luck with surgery this week. We'll all be pulling for you. Update us when you're up to it. Take it easy and try not to worry about it. You'll do just fine.

Hi Cindy,

I returned home yesterday afternoon. I am sore and tired. My insurance didn't cover the pain meds, so I had to get a pain med that isn't quite as strong and I am up late tonight because it isn't taking care of the pain for me. I will call the BIW tomorrow and see if I can get something stronger.

Otherwise, I am doing well. The hospital and staff were wonderful as was Dr. Chaing!

I'm glad you are home and everything went as planned!  Let me know how you do this week.  I'll be right behind you.  Start the liquid on the 12th and surgery is on the 19th.  I'm excited!

Hi Cindy,

I had a bit of a setback  yesterday. Was running a fever of 101 so they had me go the ER at Elmbrook. They admitted me for observation. They did a bunch of tests to check for leaks and all looks good. They are not sure why I was running the fever, but, my temp broke so they sent me home with some stronger pain meds since I have zero pain tolerance with all my chronic pain.  I am glad to be back home and am just gong to take it easy until I heal up a bit more.

Your date is approaching quickly Cindy! I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep me udpated.
