He doesn't give out his personal email address, since so many times patients have questions that are answered by his staff.  Call the office and they are always very helpful.  I will suggest to him that he get one for patients or prospective patients can use and he can forward them to his staff. I'll be talking to him soon.

I'm not sure about the support group meetings, since I live in Sheboygan and it's an hour drive. I attend all the informational seminars which are held on the first Wednesday of every month. There is going to be an additional one in July as well. If that is what you want to attend, call Wisconsin Bariatrics and make a reservation. I believe he still cuts the attendance off at 100 per session.  The Aurora Sinai hospital should be able to tell which days the bariatric support group meets, since they are held right there.  Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you! When I went for my informational seminar @ Aurora Sinai in May, they said that the support group meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 6-8 in the Auditorium where we had the info session.  There should be one this Wednesday (the 18th) - I plan on going.

I've never attended one, but I understand that they have different speakers and topics every time. My friend goes almost monthly,and enjoys learning new things about food, exercise, plastic surgery, etc, as well as meeting tons of new people.  Enjoy!
