NEWBIE

Hi everyone. Im a newbie on the board. I just finished my 6 month diet and i have to take a stress test. The doctor's office said i should be scheduled from late may early june. im just hoping the ins approves me. I have UMR- ugh stupid wheaton.

Hi Kat I thought that the Bariatric seminar was tonight, but it was on Monday-imagine my disappointment.  Now I have to wait until 5/19/08.  Did you have to attend a seminar or did you just call the surgeon that handles your insurance? Talk to ya soon-Thanks again for all the information!

Oh I was also going to say that if you are going to the Bariatric Instute I'm pretty sure they require a seminar. You can call and ask them :)

Hi Kats, My name is Vicki My surgrery is May 1st and my doctor is Dr Engstrand from Elmbrook Hosp. and Bariatric Center in Brookfield.  I didn't have to do the 6 month diet thing, so things have been going very fast. I'm now into my 7th day of my liquid protein diet before surgury and I feel I could eat a horse or two....lol Hope your the best of luck and I hope your ins don't get you a hard time!!! Vicki
