I can hear a pin drop .....
hee hee...Yes yes.. I'd use them. How soon after surgery do you think I could begin? I know that the first few weeks I would be to sore to attempt them... Oh.. are we talking vhs or dvd? I'd have to try to dig out the vhs player if they were tapes....
I'm completely jealous of the non sagging ass!!! I think I am going to join the spanx fan club after surgery! lol. How have other things been for you? when I was down you said you hit a stall.. did you get over that hump?
I stayed stalled for a couple weeks and than gained 2 pounds one week...then this last week...BOOM..another 5 pounds gone. That's 81 total in 5.5 months. This is the oddest weightloss...LOL.
I think most of them are VHS....do you have a burner for DVDs? I think we might...I'll have to ask Skip.
I started back at Tae-bo maybe 3 weeks after surgery...but...I had a really strong program going before surgery so I bounced back pretty quick. Before that I just walked and used light dumbells. My entire focus before surgery was to get as strong as possible...and in the best possible shape....so I could hit the ground running as soon as I could after surgery. And I really think that's helped.
I can't believe how close you are! Are you freaked? Calm?
Hell yeah I 'm freaked! Then I have days of calm. Then something triggers it.. and I'm freaked. It's crazy how my emotions are messing with me. I know it is the right choice, and I am confident in my choice. Altho I have to admit, yesterday at pre op we had to sign a form stating we understood the risks as they have been explained to us.. blah blah blah. I actually HESITATED before I signed!! I just froze with the OMG feeling. Then I shrugged it off and signed. I have to say, hanging out in these forums and reading has done me a world of good on what to expect or things I'll be feeling. I felt there were some in the pre op meeting yesterday that didn't know all that much and wish they had found a support group sooner.
As for the DVD burner.. hmmm good question. I'll have to look at my computer, or call my friend Nate.. he builds computers.. and ask him (he built my desk top) I know my lap top is only for cd's.....
81!!!!!! That is fantastic!!!!! Did you ever imagine losing 81 lbs in 5 months before? How exciting! I was going through the bags of cloths again...getting organized. I had to put things in to bins.. mostly by size.. but also by how they looked.. there were some cloths that said size 14 that looked either big or small.. and that is the bin they went in. I just have to say thanks again for the cloths.. Hopefully in 6 months I'll be in the 14 lookin for the 12's!!!
Hi Denise,
Read your blog. Sounds like a full full day.
What was the $240 dollars for? No one has mentioned that to me.
I had one upper GI already, I wonder if I will have to have another.
Not too much longer for you I wish you well.

Hey Cindy... I dunno if you would have to do that again or not??? Yes it is a full day. As for the 240.00 I found out about it when I went in for my H-pyLori test (I probably spelled that way wrong). They probably haven't mentioned it to you b/c they are waiting on insurance. But its a program fee requirement that you pay to Surgical Associates. It is for aftercare of 12 support group sessions, and 12 sessions with their personal trainer, Dustin. You will need to pay that when you arrive for your day of pre op work ups. Start saving your pennies!
