Well for my husband and myself. I got my approval letter from Group Health (BadgerCare Plus) on Saturday on the first request. I hadn't heard anything from the doctors office so I called down there today to see what the next step was. The nurse said they were just waiting on the approval - I told her I'd gotten the letter in the mail on Saturday. She said well then let's schedule your date. April 29th!! After many years of planning, researching, and dreaming it is finally going to come true!! I just had to share.

Thats wonderful news!! We are "almost" surgery sisters!!! Its wonderful that you got approved first time around. I have the same ins and had to go through the grueling appeal process. Good luck.. and keep us posted!!!

Good for you!! I know how frustrating it is to wait for approval. I found the time before the surgery to be difficult, and I starved on the pre-surgery diet!! I'm sure it will all be worth the trouble for you.
