Hey everyone, well, a week from yesterday we are getting in the car and heading to WI... I am SOOO excited to get out of WA!  Anyways, I have a couple ?'s for anyone: 1) We are a military family and I'm wondering what is the best surgeon or clinic that accepts HealthNet (TriCare) in the Green Bay area (but I'm from WA, so if I have to travel an hour, I'm used to it, no big deal, lol)? 2)I'm three week post-op today and I'm eating!!!  The surgeon gave me the thumbs up, and said it was ok, some people advance faster than others. In fact, I haven't had any problems w/ any foods stayng down/dumping, everything seems to be fine (except protien sups, but I'll get to that, lol), is that normal, could I hurt my new stomach, did any of you advcance faster that "normal"?  I trust my surgeon, but I still want to know from people who've lived it... 3) Protien sups are making me SICK, I'm taking about throwing them up, cramping in my stomach, and dumping... this is the ONLY thing that has upset my stomach and I'm worried I'm not getting enough protien because of it.  I have literally tried EVERYTHING, whey, soy, egg, powder, RTD, shots, everything... ANY ideas, tips, suggestions would be GREAT!  I've been eating a lot (that's laughable) of cheese and milk, but it still doesn't add up to "60-120 grams"... I've felt fine, except today, I was exhausted but I don't know if that's because of protein or something else... anyways, I need ideas to get my protien, anything would help at this point!   Thanks everyone, and I look forward to getting to know you all better.  I'm soooo excited to head to WI!!!

Why on earth would you want to move to Wisconsin?    Just kidding. As for help with protien I've been using the BeneProtein powder and adding it to things.  Granted I haven't had surgery yet so who knows if I will be able to hack it afterwards or not.  I know right now I add it to things that are already gritty (mainly cottage cheese & oatmeal).
