New to group, wanted to say hi

Hello all, my name is Alli.  I am 9 days post op, woohoo.  I am currently living in WA but my husband just got out of the Army and we are headed home to Green Bay, WI in TWO WEEKS!  I can't believe it, everything has just happened soo fast.  I'm a SAHM, to a beautiful one year old little girl, Hanna. Like I said, I am only 9 days post op, so I still have the annoying port in my belly, but that comes out tomorrow, YAY!  I am still on the full liquids diet and hoping the doctors give me the thumbs up to try new things come Friday.   I just want to say hi and introduce myself since I'm heading your way.  All my support is here in WA and I really don't have any support once we move, so I may be turning to you all a bit more in the future.  Thanks for welcoming me and I can't wait to get to know you.

Welcome Alli!!  Where in GB will you be moving too? I live in Appleton which is only 25 min away.  How are you doing post op? I can't wait until I can say I'm post op ...and shortly after 7:30 on April 28 I can say that!! Woot Woot!!   Argh.. I'm easily distracted.. seems like the surgery consumes my every thought! Back to you move to GB....where does your Hubby work? I am also employed in Green Bay......sorta... I WAS working there until they moved my office to my home.. very very sweet set up.   Oh..and are you football fans? Coming from WA I question if you are Seahawk fans. Hmmm... we have a street named Holmgren Way in GB... named after Coach Holmgren after we won a superboal under him as coach.  In time you will be converted to Packer fans.. after all you are moving right into the heart of it all!!! hee heee.   Seriously.. you will be amazed as you look around Green Bay.. its Packerland this..and Packerland that.. and these are just the names of stores and businesses!   Ok.. ok.. I'll stop.. can't help it tho, I love my Green and Gold!! You can remain loyal to your team.. unless you are aBears fan...then we shall have conflict!!!  hee hee.  What would be funny is ...after all my ramblings ... you probaby detest foodball!!! Anyway..I just wanted to say WELCOME!! And hope to talk to you soon!!!

Hi Alli and Welcome.  9 days post op, how exciting. Seems I was there not that long ago. I occasionally work in Green Bay even though I live 2 hours South. I'm working at Aurora BayCare April 5 and April 18th in Green Bay. It's a nice town and Yes you better be a Packer Backer. Will you see a Docotr Post Op in the Green Bay area?
