Approved in Superior

Hi everyone: I was approved for RNY this past week.  I live in Superior, WI.  I am 5'6" tall and weight 234.  I hope to lose 90-100 lbs.  Anyone nearby?  I am 51 years old.  I have Dr. Medlin for my surgeon. Lillysummer Lynn

Hi Denise: I have been approved, but must wait 4-6 weeks for a surgery date.  I have to wait until after April 15th, as I work in an accouting office (good 'ol tax season).  Thanks for the reply. Lillysummer

Hi Lynn!  Congrats on your approval!  Buckle up...it's a GREAT ride.   I'm not too close to Superior, but I do know that there are some from  the Duluth area that meet for coffee and support.  They come on the MN board as do I as I live on the MN border and had my surgery there. Yep I am in SUperior as well.  I had the RNY in Wausau back in 2005.  Get ready for some serious weight loss! give me a shout if ya need some tips and advice Ric

Hi lynn I live in ashland wisconsin not super far from you. I just moved from superior to duluth.. i am just starting the process, I have my psyche eval june 9th and the 16th . then  may 7th I have my appt for the rn and dietician in duluth...
