Meriter Hospital
I had my lap-band at Meriter - I really prefer it to UW. I work with UW a lot at my job, and I'm just not real thrilled at the way they do things there.
Dr. Garrin was my surgeon, Dr. Solenski was my anesthesiologist, and they were both wonderful - so were all the nurses. Oh, and I had a 1:1 nurse in the recovery room - I'm not sure if that's the norm at Meriter, but I would guess so because I had no complications.
I had my surgery with Dr. Garren at UW Hospital. I chose it for the exact opposite reason as one of the previous posters -- I previously worked at Meriter and I did not like the way *they* did things. I also wanted a private room, which I was told I would not have at Meriter.
I was 110% satisfied with every aspect of my UW Hospital experience. So much so that I chose it over Meriter (again) to have my upcoming knee surgery.
