Hey everyone, I'm new to the Revision Site
Hellooooo Everyone !
I'm not new to the OH website, but I am new to the Revision forum today. I started my liquid diet today in preparation for my bypass (revsion from a failed lap band) surgery on Wednesday the 5th
I had a Lap Band surgery 2 years ago with a removal surgery this June. 4 surgeries during that 2 yr period. 3 Slips and a gallbladder removal. I am so ready for this bypass surgery but find that I'm dealing with a lot of nervous stomach issues, trouble sleeping, moody, irritable and just downright confused. I'm not at all nervous or scared about the surgery. I trust the surgeon completely, I have a great support unit too. I wish that I had this surgery to begin with, but at the time I was swayed by the "reversible, less side effects, reversible, slower healthier weight loss, by the way did I mention, reversible. Ughhh. Now I'm left with dealing with the prospect of a longer surgery because of all the scar tissue. Ok, I'm sure you've realized by now that I have an issue with the time I wasted those 2 years. I know what you're going to say, "Get over it and move on" I'm trying, really I am. Does anyone else have issues they've dealt with after realizing they have to go through a revision? Any ideas, recommendations, help?
