A Call to Action

We continue to advocate for improved coverage of bariatric surgery in this State. In the past we have urged you to get involved by contacting your Insurance company administrators, HR managers and local government representatives urging that they move to improve coverage. I would hope that you would continue to do so regularly.

Nothing can compare with your own personal story....be it the positive transformation for those lucky enough to have had coverage for bariatric surgery....or the devastating disappointment of those desperate for surgery, but with no option to pursue.

I ask you now....write your story down in as much detail as you see fit to muster. Tell of your journey, as successful or as frustrating as it might be. Be as anonymous as you see fit.
