Good news or bad news??

I just found out today...My surgeon takes the weight I started out at when they submit the request for authorization to my  insurance. (SHP) The weight I started out at, only gives me a BMI of 35.4--my BMI now is 36.7. Granted, I have severe GERD, which has not responded to typical treatment, so that's an accompanying comorbidity...I have also been on metformin for years for PCOS and glucose intolerance--but I don't have diabetes. So...I'm wondering if I'm actually going to be able to get the ReY or not. Anyone have SHP and similar cir****tances??
