Dr. kevin Wasco or Dr. Raymond Georgen

I have been a patient of  midwest bariatrics for 2 years. I did have the band placed in august 2005, had it removed sept 2007. in between had my port replaced. and even the manufacturer of the bnad cannot figure out what the problem was caused from. Dr wasco & his staff along with dr Georgan, have all been more than awesome and accomodating. they are both very skilled and experienced surgeons. I am having RNY this month on the 30th. hope you get your date soon. maybe one day some of us will meet at the MWB office.

Thanks for your reply. I seem to be hearing a lot about problems with the lap band. I was  briefly considering it, but I think I will be sticking with my original plan for RYN. You have been on this journey for a long time. I hope this time around it all works out for you. I wont be too far behind you. And maybe we will meet sometime. It's a small world after all! oh my gosh I didnt realize you lived there in kaukauna... that is where my brother in law lives and my youngest son is in little chute. are you by any chance going to the teaching session for RNY this week? I am. we certianly have to meet some time when I come down that way. I live in upper MI.
