Hi Paula,   Good luck to you on getting the surgery covered.   It is sooo worth it.   I am the happiest I have been in a long time.  Everything went great with the surgery and I am 6 months out and still no complications.   I am down 80 pounds and have 40 to go !!    It was the best decision since my health is so much better since the surgery.    Any questions let us know !!    Best of luck to you and let us know when your new birthday is :)     Shelly

Thanks for the well wishes!!  With the options I have I would think I should be able to get the surgery covered.  <<<<>>>>  That is great that things have been going great for you!  Which procedure did you have done?  Forgive me if it is posted somewhere.  I am still getting used to how to get around this place.  :-)  Good luck to you with your last 40lbs!!!  How exciting.  Well past your half mark!!   I can't wait to let everyone know my new birthday!!!!!  Paula

Hi Paula,  I had the laposcopic gastric bypass at Theda Clark with Dr. Wasco from Midwest bariatrics.     It took me two years to get the insurance company to cover it but it was well worth the wait or should I say weight???     Shelly

What? You don't know where the big metropolis of Bloomer is? LOL It is half an hour north of Eau Claire, 15 min. north of Chippewa Falls, half hour south of Rice Lake, or 2 hours south of Superior. Does that give you any kind of a clue? lol We are right on hwy. 53, population just over 3200. Yup, farm country and lovin it!  So, I hope your having fun navigating the site of OH. It has alot of wonderful qualities. Throw in a few glitches and you have the perfect web world! Continued best wishes for insurance approval, and keep posting! Cheryl
