Hi everyone!

Hi everyone.  I joined this forum approximately one month ago so I am a newbie.  I attended my seminar on July 10th and learned a lot just the first night.  I have lots of reading and research to do yet.  I have to also research the insurance options available to my through my employer and get switched to an insurance provider that will cover the procedure.  Open enrollment is the end of the year so I have some work to do.

Anyway, I wanted to post a message to introduce myself.  I am from Beaver Dam and I am almost 39 years old.  I body feels like it is 80 years old and I have to save myself before it is to late.  I am almost 39 years old and I feel like I really haven't lived yet.

 Welcome!!!!  I am also a newbie to OH and still learning how to get around the site.  I joined last week.  I just got my insurance approval yesterday and am waiting for the Dr. to call with an available surgery date.  I am struggling with when I want to have the surgery because there is a lot going on for me until Labor Day and I am afraid of "losing out" on the food that will go along with the activities.  That sounds sad, but honest.  So i am waiting to see what dates are available and go from there.....

Thanks so much!  I am excited but very nervous at the same time.  I worry I can really do this.  I like food!  sighhhhhh.  But, it sure has gotten me in a world of hurt though.  thanks for the message and good for you on your success.  Keep it up!

Hi Paula, Just wanted to welcome you to OH. I have been a member for a long time. Just had surgery this past Feb though. I come to the state board every so often to check in. I am 42 and I can tell you --- losing the weight will make a huge difference in how you feel. I feel stonger, healthier and happier now. Wishing you well on your journey!!! Cathy
