Iron Infusion

Has anyone had to have this done?

I have one scheduled for Monday morning, the 16th.  I was fine with it until they said that I'd have to bring someone with me to drive me home!!!!  Now I am a bit anxious. I understand that it is an I.V. treatment that may take up to 6 hours, but WHAT does it feel like?  Why do I need a driver afterwards?   I thought the point was to make me feel BETTER and not so tired all the time.......

Thanks for any input you can share!

Tell someone that you love them!

Hi Dawn....I haven't, but wanted to wish you luck!  Perhaps someone on the Main Board can tell you more if you don't get any answers here.
