Just checking in!

Just wanted to check on my fellow Wisconsinites and see how everyone is doing? I've been over on the LapBand board (that is the surgery I'm interested in having). I love to drop by ever now and again and read all the good things going on with you guys. I hope everyone is doing well!

Hey Jamille!  Good to see you!  I spend most of my time on the MN board as that is where I had surgery and I'm on the border.  How goes your journey so far?

So far I'm still fighting the good fight, but at a standstill. My hubby has left a few messages for his HR department (to question the possibility of having the "no obesity related procedures" policy removed), but he hasn't heard back yet. I'm keeping the faith that either things will change or I will win the lotto and be able to self pay for my LapBand..lol. Keep me in your prayers! I LOVE your new avatar btw!!!!

I'm praying darlin.....have a feeling things will work out.  In HIS timing.

Hi Jamille,   Good to see you again! You are so beautiful- I think that everytime I see your avatar! I have faith things will work out for you- I'll keep my finger's crossed for you. I had my surgery 7/3 and I'm doing pretty well- the first week has been rough but things are turning around today. Take care!

Thanks KJ . I'm hanging in there. I know when it's my time it will happen. If I have to save up the money and pay for it myself I think it's worth it. I just love having OH, everyone is so supportive and such inspirations!!
