She's not dead

Well Marie is still struggling with the liquid diet, its hard because so many dont understand and have been offering her food but I am soo proud of her, She is doing actually well though I think I am missing a few fingers, is there any advise anyone can give Me to help Her??? I know she is a bit nervous as surgery is a week away now.                                                   Thanks                                                                       DJ

Hi DJ- I don't have to do the LD, but I've seen lots about it written.  If she needs to chew on something, SF popsicles are good.  At least she chews and that might help.  One week left and she's on the home stretch in this process.  Once she has the surgery, her relationship with food is going to change and the LD won't be as MUCH of a struggle.   You're a great friend to be helping her!  Just keep letting her know how great she is doing!
