consult

Hello everyone I had my consult on thursday I am SO EXCITED. He wants to do Lap RNY. I was kind of leaning toward that anyway , but has any one heard of BLISS it is kind of like an extra insurance for self payers?

Good guess my name is danielle. Yes my surgeon did bring up the Bliss insurance, still not really informed on it yet, and no date yet hoping for friday july 13th. I know friday the 13th its crazy.

Danielle ,  I am just curious how long did it take you to get in for your consultation??  I am checking out the bariatrics center in waukesha and I am getting some info from Froedert but waukesha I have to wait over a month to get into ...just curious how long you had to wait...

Hi It took about a month also to see Dr. Chaing but I am glad I waited I really liked him and the staff so far are all very helpful. I am In health care though and you cant beat froedert and dr.  wallace is supposed to be very good. Whatever place you choose In my opion are very good and well educated on what they are doing. P.S. If you are a self pay the bariatric center is way more reasonable.

I had my consult with Dr. Wallace on May 14th. It only took me 2 weeks to get in to see him. Danielle, what did you think of him? I thought he was great personally, i liked the fact that hes the straight forward no bs type. How much did he tell you you had to lose? He told me I didnt have to lose anything.. although hed like me to lose 15lbs but hes not making it mandatory. I thought that was rather odd. Im looking at the end of July for my surgery.. I have to quit smoking 1st. Mandy

Hi Mandy I didnt realize my profile said I was seeing dr. wallace I am actually seeing Dr. Chaing. But I have a friend who went to him and just loved him. I have had a hard time finding young people to talk with about the surgery. What kind are you having? I am doing the bypass. I am hoping for mid July latest because I start school in the fall again.
