I am soooo happy for you I don't know what to do. I keep thinking of that commercial that says celebrating is contagious. Unless some wealthy donor decides they want to throw $17,000 my way looks like it's not going to be happening anytime soon for me. I checked all the angles with the insurance info I was given and it all boils down to the company that set up the plan not BCBS. I know you will do great with dropping the pre-surgery pounds required. If it's ok with your doctor try the Fat Smash diet, it's pretty good and I lost 17lbs in nine days on it. Jamille....thanks so much for celebrating with me. It is appreciated and when you're obviously so down. I'm so sorry that this is happening. I do hope this works out eventually. Say a prayer and I'll say one too. God does work miracles! I've never heard of the Fat Smash Diet. He wanted me to do the Atkins thing. So, I'll try it. Just had a funeral for bread.....we ate Subway tonight for supper and I savored every bite. Now....on with the dieting. Pam

We'll be June surgery buddies! Mine is June 12th - and I can't believe how fast the time is flying by! Good luck doing Atkins! I have to do a 2 week liquid diet prior to surgery, but it's worth NOT having to do a bowel prep! CONGRATULATIONS!! Our time is coming!
