QOTD May 2
Hi All,
This question comes from Betty Boop in Spencer
I guess my question would be do you you have some weeks where you just feel like you could eat the whole refrigerator? I sure do. Am sometimes I feel like I am. But being 18 months out I really have to watch it. the other day I went out to eat with my family and I thing I experenced my first dumping. I think I ate to fast and I was so sick. Did not like that feeling at all. But it opened my eyes again and made me think about what I was putting in my mouth and how fast it was going down. a little eye opener is good sometimes. right?

Well, I'm pre-op so I'm going through that "it might be the last time I get to eat this" phase - lol! That being said, one of my concerns is that because I live alone I don't have the most consistent eating schedule. Knowing that I'll need to have a more structured schedule - especially until I get the "hang" of my new pouch - is worrysome.
I hear ya there Kelly! My problem is I end up working quite late some times and there have been many nights I don't eat supper until 10pm. Things are going to be quite different. I'm just going to have to bring the work home earlier and do it when I'm here. We'll be fine....just will take some adjusting as will everything post op.

yeah i do feel like that somedays (like today ) its called grazing and i try really hard to fight it . my portions are still very small , but i dont need that habit . giving into this habit will end in weight gain. i have been feeling nausious after i eat the last few days, maybe that is my bodys warning. i have ony dumped 2 times. i can eat small amounts of sugar now and not affect me . i hate that . the other day though i went for a 10 mile bike ride with dh on the chippewa river state trail , i had a drink of water going 1 way and something to eat coming back and by the time i got home i was ill . not sure what happened .
