I have my Surgeon consult date...

it's next Thursday, May 3rd! I almost fell over when I saw that yesterday. I was thinking it would in a few weeks. LOL Just wanted to share that. Next step is he okays me and it gets submitted to insurance. I've seen some people be approved in as little as 4 hours with HealthPartners, but most are 2-3 days. Surgeon is probably booked out about 6 weeks. It shouldn't be long now! WOOOOO HOOOOO!

what a wonderful feeling.i was in vegas when i called my surgern and found out my ins. o.kd.the surgery.for some reason,it made me eat and drink a little more.barb

From what I understand the wanting to eat more is very common. It's like having a funeral to the food we are leaving behind. I'm sure I'll be doing the same thing....already have to some extent. Had some ice cream and chips and dip.

Thank you so much Shelly. I am very excited, I know there will be hard times with this surgery but I can't continue to live like this, it's killing me. So worth it....I agree absolutely. I may not a few days after surgery though. sure I'll be in a bit of pain. No pain, no gain right?! Pam

thr day i walked into my doctors office and went to surgery,it was 3 months.the waiting was crazy.but it was well worth it.i go this thursday for a fill,and it can't come soon enough.barb
