If anyone is from the Conover area or near there can you send me a note. I have a friend who just had the surgery and she is struggling. I want to be able to put her in touch with people in her area. She, right now, doesn't have access to a computer. Thanks for any help you can give to me. Jeanne

Hi Jeanne- What a GREAT friend you are! Thank you for trying to help her. I'm not in the Conover area, but I would suggest that she calls her surgeon to find out if there are any support groups there. A suggestion for access to a computer would be the library. She would be able to get on here and go into the main chat room. Unfortunately the Wisconsin Forum isn't visited much, so I would suggest also that you post this on the Main Messageboard. Thank you Pam, excellent idea. I don't know this woman we met via a person who belongs to a group who is very anti-weight loss surgery. I knew she wasn't going to get any support there. I spoke with her last nite and she is struggling. I suggested, very strongly that she ask the surgeon and the nut where she can get support, she had the surgery and never attended a support group. Here in Phillie I had to go to three before I could have the surgery. Anyway, thank you , she is going to be going to the library in the next few weeks. I am going to tell her about your response.
