Newbie here!

I am new to the WI boards and I just am looking to make more friends closer to home. I just got my date of June 5th and I am getting really excited, but I am also worried about what I am going to need and what if I get sick I have told all of my friends that if they are even feeling yucky at all they can't come over. I feel like I'm being soooo rude. Am I over reacting? Well anyone who wants to talk feel free! HUGS.... Marie

Hi Marie- Welcome to the WI OH board. CONGRATULATIONS on getting a surgery date....how exciting! I'm on the MN boarder, so not in your area, but wanted to welcome you. This board isn't really visited a lot. I have been going to the MN forum myself. There are some however that may be in your area in here. Hi I'm also new to the Wisconsin Board and also new to the web site. I'm from Fond du Lac so am not to far down the road from you. I have my first appointment with a doctor in Milwaukee on May 8th. Don't know exactly how all this works but maybe we can become friends and help each other out.

Hello! My name is Lavelle Gill, and I am also new to the wisconsin boards on the OH site. I've just made the decision to go with the lap band system, and am looking for those who are about to have the proceedure and follow their success. I live in the milwaukee area, and know that our boards don't get visited much. Hopefully that will change!
