legs aching

Can anyone tell me if after surgery they have their legs acting like the restless leg syndrome at night? Mine have for thepast 3 nights, they are keeping me up. I am sure it is some sort of deficiency, but what? Does anyone know or has anyone had this problem post op? I need advice it is driving me CRAZY!!

My first thought would be potassium deficiency. You don't say how far post-op you are, but I'd suggest bananas for one thing.

Hi Bobbi, Oh my gosh, I just started feeling this sensation in my right leg about a week ago. I thought it was because I increased by exercise but maybe that is not the reason. I never had the restless leg syndrome before so I never paid attention to it. I am going to the doctor again on Wed and will ask him about it. I will let you know or hopefully someone responds to your post. Thanks Shelly
