plastic surgery woos

I am in need of some plastic surgery. (TT and breast implants) I was wondering if anyone has gone thru this process yet. I went to Dr. and my ins. denied after 1st time. Can't seem to be getting help with appeals. Does anyone know what the ins is looking for? Who might be the best Dr. to do the surgery as well as getting the ins. to pick up. I am happy to have lost all my excess weight, but feel I am only half way to my goal because of sagging skin. Any help would be appreciated. Debbie G.

Hi Debbie, you have to be "medically necessary" to have the TT covered, the breasts..your on your own sweetie! That is a complete cosmetic surgery, but if you can get your doctor to document that your excess skin is causing rashes and so on, it will be medically necessary. I have Wausau Beneifts and luckily the TT is a covered benefit if I went through the whole Bariatric Program. Good Luck!
