Hi I had the surgery on 1/30/07 at Theda Clark hospital in Neenah. I am currently 5 weeks post op. I walk on my treadmill once or twice a day for about 1 1/2 miles each time. The question I have is when did everyone introduce the resistance training? I looked in my book and it does not give a week or time frame to start those exercises. Thanks

Hi, Shelly, I have my surgery 3/20 at Theda Clark and I was just looking over the book they give you. It says to begin resistance training 1-2 months = once per week. it gradually increases. Look it up on the second page of the Exercise section in the "Owner's Manual". Good Luck!

I know, I'm so nervous that mine is going to be worn out before I get there!:angst: I have my physical w/ Dr. Knaus on Monday and meet w/ Dr. Georgen then too. I was actually to have had my surgery in Jan. also but an ulcer showed up in the tests that was missed by the initial blood test. It's gone now and I have been given the green light. Good luck with your exercise. I hope to chat with you again some time. ~Anne~
