Anyone Have Dr. Burhop?

Hi all, I am just looking to make a connection with others who have Dr. Burhop as their surgeon. I am currently finishing a three month Physician Supervised Diet as required by my insurance and hope to have surgery later this spring. Lisa R.

Hi Lisa, I just saw Dr. Burhop today! He is my surgeon. He is a great guy! So are his partners! They listen and will do anything for you!

Hi Lisa, Dr. Burhop did my surgery last Feb. He is a great Dr. I would recommend him to anyone. A little on the reserved side. He had me approved for WLS in less than 3 weeks from time of submitting. Can't say enough about him and his staff. Debbie G.

Thank you both for your replies. Yes, he is reserved, but I don't mind it-he sure is all business all the time. He makes me feel comfortable and confident in him. I only have one more month left on my Physician Supervised diet. My insurance company wrote me a letter that included the phrase: "Once the patien completes a three months physician supervised program, bariatric surgery will be medically appropriate." So I am pretty confident that I will be approved after my next insurance submission. Thanks for listening and responding, Lisa R.
