JUST STARTING OUT

Hi I am Kathy. I am just starting my journey and don't have a clue as to what I'm doing. I have a doctors appointment on tuesday so that is step #1. I am terrified and yet excited. I know it is a long journey but I am ready mentally. Hopefully my insurance will cover it or this will all be foe nothing. Any good Wisconsin Info would be helpful. Thank you.

Hi Shelly, thank you so much for replying. I just got a call that my dr. is sick, so I have to go next Wedn. What a bummer. I would love to keep track of your progress. I think that is GREAT that you already lost all that weight. I hope my dr. refers me and I don't have to fight insurance for a long time. Hope to talk to you later. Maybe we can get together soon. Hi, Kathy! I'm Anne and I'm finally headed for surgery on 3/30 at Theda Clark. I had an ulcer that was found in pre-op testing.... disappointing ....but would have been a real problem later on. They are very thourough and have a great track record. The drive stinks...but only in kaukauna (sorry i couldn't resist). Seriously it isn't bad. I'm from DePere and I thought you were in Green Bay. I thought I had seen aI think being terrified and excited is pretty normal. At least I feel that way too.

Hi Ann, I hope everything goes well on the 30th. I was wondering how long of a process this is? I have some health problems so I not sure I will be a canidate. Could you tell me toyr Dr.s name in Kaukauna. I was looking at a doctor in Green Bay but still checking around. Thank you for your response. I go back to the doctor on Wednsday. She will tell me her opinion on this whole deal. She wants me to heal from being sick and misdiagnosed for 4 years. My mind and body is shot, but I know this is right. Hey Kathy! I'm glad you could make some sense of my message, my computer froze and made some of it nonsense. My surgeon is Dr. Georgeon at Theda Clark. I, too, have a lot of medical issues and felt most comfortable at Theda Clark because both my surgeon and Dr. Wasco, the other surgeon, have a high success rate and also specialize in emergency medicine. They're ready for anything! Also, Theda Clark is a "hospital of excellence". Check them out. I think you'll like what you find out. They are very thorough prior to surgery and very confident when you're ready for surgery that they won't find any problems.
