Dr Recommendation/Steven's Point

Hi all... I just want to let you all know that Dr Selwyn is one of the best Dr's for RNY in the country. You are lucky to have such a caring Dr in your area. Dr Selwyn did my surgery in Dec 2004 in Cincinnati Oh. (I was very sad to see him leave) He truly cares about each and every one of his patients and I cannot say enough about him. I have lost over 200lbs and the results of the surgery have surpassed my expectations. He saved my life. I still live in Northern Ky, but when I found that he was practicing in Wisconsin now, I just had to take a minute to let you all know what an awesome dr he is and a great person too... Dr Selwyn...I miss ya...my 2 year labs came back GREAT.....B-12 a little low..but Anne told me what to do.... If you would like any additional info on Dr Selwyn...feel free to drop me a line... Good morning Sherri, I was very excited to read your comments regarding Dr. Selwyn. I too have him as my dr. I live in Stevens Point and have researched many different dr.'s. On my first meeting with him, I felt so comfortable and he did not make me feel as if I was taking up to much of his time. He was very patient and answered every question, in detail, and in laymans terms. I have my surgery scheduled for March 7th. I am excited but scared. I have been researching this surgery for years (on the obessive side) and pretty much know what to expect, however being scared I beleive is a natural reaction to any surgery. I have also been lurking and a bit voyeuristic on this website for the last 6 months. How are you adjusting to your new lease on life? Thanks again, anything postive makes this whole life changing experience easier.

I am from Friendship, work in the Rapids, and am hoping to have surgery with Dr. Selwyn in three + months. Hearing about your experiences would be so helpful to me. Hello all. I had surgery in Stevens Point with Dr. Selwyn 4 months ago. he is defintiely a SUPER GREAT GUY. I was actually his first WLS patient here in Stevens Point. He is filled with compassion and understanding. I ALWAYS feel very comfortable with him. My husbband and I can discuss anything with him and never feel wierd about it. I am doing well since surgery had some issues for quite a while with being able to keep food down but over the last couple of weeks it has gotten better. I highly recommend Dr. Selwyn and would be more than willing to discuss my experiences or answer any questions anyone has.
