Anyone Had Surgery In Marshfield? Dr. Wengert or Dr. Kuehner? St. Joe's Hospital?

Hi... I posted earlier that I got approved on Friday. I'm trying to find out now if anyone has had surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. My surgeon will be Timothy Wengert. He's a colo/rectal surgeon that has been training with Dr. Kuehner for the last few years so he could take over the bariatric surgery. They are out of the Marshfield Clinic campus in Marshfield. If you or anyone you know has had surgery done by either of them, and/or had it done at St. Joseph's Hospital, I would really appreciate any feedback about it. Thank You, Bliss........ ~Shan~

hi shan I had surgery in marshfield with Dr Wengert. It actually was my second sergery, My first surgery was done in Eau Claire with Dr Pitchford, I had some compications and Dr Wengert fixed my problems. I do like him alot, I mostly see his pa penny for my post of things. We have monthly meetings at the marshfied clinic on the second tues. of the month. Anyone can come to these meetings. I hope this helps. I am 1 year out and have reached my goal of under 130. betty

Wow Betty!!!! Only one year out and already at goal? GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!! What kind of a bedside manner does he have? How responsive is he to, I don't know, asking for med changes or other things? Is he understanding when it comes to pain meds, both in the hospital and at home, if ya know what I mean? LOL Is he as strict about things as I was led to believe in his info seminar? Did you re-coop at St. Joe's? If you did, how was the hospital stay? It definitely helps to know he's skilled enough to fix another surgeon's work. Thank You! Bliss...... ~Shan~
