Have you looked in the wisconsin baratric surgeon area on here? I know they are pretty spaced out! But there is like only 53 in Wisconsin. Have you thought about maybe coming to Milwaukee?? I know its a little bit of a drive but there are some great ones here

I would like to work through doctors in Milwaukee. The thing is by me living in Oshkosh I dont know if they will let my PCP be all the way in Milwaukee. I am going to call the insurance company and find out. I hope so I will keep you posted.

Well I called the insurance company they say my PCP can be anywhere that my insurance is covered. I have found two Bariatric PCP's one in Ripon in Appleton. I am going to see which one still has room for another patient. Maybe I am on my way. I pray that I am.

Hi Joyce, I'm just beginning my future banding journey. My, relatively new, doctor is Chris :bowtie: Rocke, here in Oshkosh. When I told him I wanted this surgery, he 'made' me go to the bariatric seminar offered almost weekly at Theda Clark in Neenah. I got lots of good ideas at the seminar and a plan of action. I believe my PCP will now write a letter for the insurance company, explaining why I need this surgery. I'm in the phone book if you want to talk, commiserate, etc, about what we're all going thru, prior to having any surgery. Bill Fenlon :type:
