Dr. Namdari ?????

Has anyone had Dr. Namdari do WLS? If so what type of surgery was it?

Hi Sandi, My sister-in-law had him 4 years ago. He did the old style of "stomach staplng on her. She did well with it, lost almost all her intended weight, but gained back some too. I had my Vertical band done in Milwaukee by Dr. Chua. My sister-in-law still makes comments on how she wished she would have had him instead because Dr. Chua has a great team of people to help with the preliminary stuff (dietician, psych, educational seminar) and she felt that after her surgery, she was on her own with no follow up. She's an RN and is fortunate enough to have a medical background to watch for problems, but she still wishes she could have had someone who prepared her more, stuck with her through it, and stayed with her for the after care. Dr. Chua tells us that once we are a patient of his, we are always a patient and are welcome to come back for problems, questions, concerns or more education. I lost more weight than he thought I would and have kept it off. He also just did a belt lipectomy on me and, if I can brag, I look FABULOUS! Dr. Thomas Chua can be found on this website as well. He's definitely worth looking into. His hard work has gotten Aurora Sinai the title of Center of Excellence, which he has earned!
