One more day until "Flubber Removal"!

Hi everyone! I can't believe the time has come! I leave tonight after work for Milwaukee to spend the night in a hotel before Dr. Chua is going to do "Flubber Removal" surgery on me! I'm having the extra skin removed from all the way around my middle! I am so excited to have this that I already know today will be the longest day of my life at work! Well, it's all over and I am home for the 2nd day. Everything went very well! I was in the day surgical center at 9:15 and at the hotel at 4:30 pm the same day. I do have a very high pain tolerance, but honestly, my hysterectomy hurt worse, and that was done laparoscopically! I am cut completely around the middle, taking skin out of my butt, hips, stomach, and pubic area. The only discomfort I feel is the rubbery tape on my back where it pulls the skin and the pubic area is a little tender. I can't remove any bandages so I don't know how I look. I can tell that I am smaller though, because I wore my same drawstring pants on the ride home yesterday, and I had a lot more draw string! I hope Dr. Chua has my before picture yet because I would like to post it for my own benefit. I coudn't take a picture because my camera was stolen the week before. Otherwise, my drains are working, I'm able to do stairs, coughing and laughing are tough, but I am very impressed! I can't wait until next week to see his handy work! Dr. Chua is THE MAN! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers from everyone! It worked! : thumbsup:
