Groups, classes or things to get involved in?

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any local groups of somesort to get involved in on any subject or classes to take on anything that are not too much money or some orginazations to get involved in? I am going threw a really tough time right now due to some major family drama, a death and recent breakup. I dont know if there are like any breakup support groups or something at a church I can get involved in. I have searched all over the internet for things and tried my local comunity center with no success. Any suggestions or information would really help me out. Thanks so much! Christina

Hi Christina, I attend the monthly support group meetings at Columbia St. Mary. They are every 4th Monday at 7-8:30 PM. I also attend two other support group meetings but not in your area. I am sure that you can find other meetings in your area. I would call the local hospitals to find out what they have available. In my area one of the local hospitals have beavement meetings once a week. This might help you to cope with the death of your loved one. I am not sure what to say about the family drama. I think that we all have some of that. I chose not to get invovled in my relatives mess. I listen to all sides but I do not comment on anything. This is how I stay safe. You know what they say about breaking up----- The best way to get over one lover is to find another. Just a suggestion. Best of luck to you, Yolanda
