Newbie here!!!

Hi all. I have been viewing this site for a little over a month now and decided to join. I do have a couple of questions that I wouldn't mind finding an answer for. First of all, are there any support meetings or groups in the Kenosha,WI area? It's a long process and I wouldn't mind keeping up on information. Also, anyone have Wausau Benefits and how long did it take to get approval?

Hi Jessica, welcome to the board! I don't have Wausau Benefits and I don't live near Kenosha so I can't help you at all. But wanted to say hi anyway! I am still in process too and it does take some time just be patient. Cheryl

Thanks for the welcome. I am trying. I just keep doing research and making sure I have all the information before I even go see the DR. I am getting my mom to get my medical records from when i was a child to show my weight since i was like 8. So far from talking with my insurance, I do not have to do the advised diet before hand which I am really excited about!!! :-) Well, good luck on your journey, and keep me posted!!!

Hi jessica, I dont know who is going to do your surgery, but dr, jandali in kenosha is a wonderful doctor. He has meetings the first Monday of the month at 6:30pm at kenosha hospital. I also have wausau insurance and have been denied twice.(not enough diet info, for the required 6 month diet) they are really strict on that. I should know something next week if I will be approved.It should only take 15 days for an approvel.If you like, you can e-mail me at [email protected], iam from kenosha also.
