New to the Wisconsin Board...

Hey Everyone, My name is Christina, I live in Watertown (in between Milwaukee and Madison) I had the gastric bypass on 5/16/06 in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. I know what you are thinking but the hospital was owned by American surgeons and the Dr trained here in the US. It was the BEST experience I have ever had at a hospital and for anyone who has insurance problems I would HIGHLY recommend it! Hi Christina Gald to hear everything went well with your surgery. There's a girl in my support group who had her WLS in Mexico too. She just got home last week I think. Christina - WELCOME! I'm so glad to hear your surgery went well. I was starting to plan for surgery in Puerto Vallarta until I learned if I change my plan in January, I can get surgery covered. I was very impressed with the research I had done, though nearly every person I talked to about it freaked out - lol! How have you been feeling since the surgery?
