Hudson Conference - It was Great!!

The OH Regional Conference in Hudson yesterday was great!!! I gained so much information and met wonderful folks from both WI and MN. The Western WI WLS Support Group did a wonderful job and Monica and her crew were so organized... We had a few technical difficulties with the presentations for the speakers but it all worked out. It was neat to meet Allison Bottke, an author from MN, who had written several books... but her latest is a novel is about woman who has had WLS and losses 150 pounds. I picked up her book at the conference, she signed it of course, and I started reading it last night. So far it's really good!! For those of you who attended... how about sharing your thoughts and any info you found most informative. Tracy A.

Dropping in from the MN board to say THANKS for organizing such a great event!! I had really been looking forward to this for the last month and had a great time. Heard some things I already had down pretty good, learned a lot of things I *thought* I knew, but didn't really, and gained some new insight to help me get through the mental blocks I have as well as to help me maintain the physical. Boy did I enjoy Monica!! She was AMAZING!!! I think...no, I KNOW I walked out of there more prepared and better educated than I walked in there. I'm hoping that I didn't detract any from any of the speakers....I was the one there w/the baby! By the time the next event rolls around that I can attend, she'll be better able to be away from me longer and I won't have to bring her. Thanks again for arranging such a great event!!! Traci

Tracy - it was wonderful to meet you - and I look forward to seeing you again!! We are going to try and plan a get-together conference for possibly November - at the St Croix Camp - fireplace and all!!
