Lapband message board and doctor question

Hi everyone, Well I am totally lost. I am trying to find a post that was sent about a month ago that gave a name of a doctor in Milwaukee that could send in a referal for the lap band. If I remember correctly he has seen several of the MT Siani patients that were going to have Dr Chua for a surgeon. I don't remember if it was on the insurance board, lapband board or this board. Anyone write the post?? Also I can't find the message board for Wisconsin Lapbanders. Thanks for your help.

I don't beleve there is a separate board here for Wisconsin lapbanders. To find the lapband forum, click on the tab above marked "forums", then click on "lapband" under the surgery type listings, and you'll be at the lapband forum. Sue O.

Hi Sandra, OH can be hard to navigate, but plenty of us on the Wisconsin board are lap-banders, me included. You are right about Dr. Chua. If you had questions about him you could post them here, I bet one of his patients could answer. If you have specific questions about the lap band, I'd be willing to answer your post here. The lap-band has literally saved my life. It is worth every bit of effort I put in to get it and take care of it. I had my surgery 11 months ago. Yours in pounds down, Jen -143

Still searching for the doctor in Milwaukee that will see me and write a letter of medical necessity for the lap band. I don't remember which board it was on but someone gave the name of a doctor in Milw that had good sucess with lap band approvals. Supposedly he knows what the insurance companies want to hear. Whoever posted had a referal from him to have the surgery done at MT Siani and with Dr Chua. I might call MT Siani and ask but I would think it would be a conflict of interest so I was hoping to find the doctors name on here. Thanks
