Topic: Breast Reduction & Lift

I had RNY 3 years ago...just got approval from my insurance company and they are going to cover a breast reduction and lift!!!

I have had a consultation with Dr. Leff in Bellevue and really liked him but would like to get recommendations for other good plastic surgeons so I can compare doctors and make the right decision.

It is totally normal to have all kinds of emotions about surgery at about two weeks away. And of course, the being hungry sure does not help!!!

All I can say is it will pass, and be soooooo worth it! Congrats on being so close!!!

Thanks so much for the input. I am on the lap band website more right now trying to really make sure this is the right choice. I am very glad to see I have put my faith and trust in the right Dr. I plan to get to as many support groups as I can.

My surgery is scheduled for March 11, two weeks from today and up until this point I haven't been nervous about it at all. But now I am starting to get anxious.

And I'm hungyr, I am on my surgeons required 1000 cal a day diet and let me tell you that ain't much! So maybe thats part of it. I don't know.

Anyway, glad this board is here. I don't post much but I have been reading others posts for a while now.

I am going to try to make the meeting next week. I have been meaning to go but haven't made it yet. Since my surgery is in 2 weeks I think I really should attent at least one meeting before.

There is a U of WA support group that meets once a month. It's the first Wednesday of the month. I hope that you can come. It starts at 6-7:30pm.
