So it has been redone, or not yet? If you had a bypass, and they reversed to solve problems, I doubt they would re-do it.
Hi Everyone!
Please join us for the TTNT support group mtg Monday, June 24th.
Meetings held at Central Pierce Fire and Rescue Station 6-1, 114th and A St, Parkland. Please come in the back door.
See you there!
My original doctor Dr. Fox and Dr. OH. Stomach was stapled and intestines extremely shortened (other than that I dont know the name, it was 15 years ago.
No, I was taking Creon. I wasn't on any medication at the time (on a lot now and also have sleep apnea.)
There's also one in Puyallup.
The difference in these groups is that they existed so long, there are more long termers here than elsewhere. That's not to say the group you attend is bad or "less", but you might consider adding a group to the ones you attend. If I could go to every one in the state, I'd do it, just to get the support I need and to get different views, recent studies, etc.
But my question is, since someone is now w2illing to start a new group probably mid-kitsap, Chico? Silverdale? would others be interested in attending?
We lived there when I had my surgery i***** but we moved to Puyallup in 1995. We attended Kitsap as often as possible, since those people helped launch us.. I still thank a women who'd had several surgeries in the late 70's and 80's, but still attended.. healthy and holding a good wt. It MaDE me want to attend. We started an east Pierce County group because there was nothing over this way.
Any interest, anywhere? They'd not be doctor, surgery or date specific. We all started out the same, morbidly obese and miserable. And over time, many of our issues are the same, regardless of surgery type. Loose skin, relationships that change

P.S. My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.
What rx meds were you taking? Were you, for example, taking Creon?

Hello all,
It's that time again. The Fife support group is meeting this Tuesday at 6:30 PM at the Poodle Dog restaurant in Fife. The meeting is held in the middle of the restaurant in a private room between the bar and the kitchen.
This is an even month so bring any clothes you would like to donate for the even exchange. Also don't forget about the prize for our monthly challenge. The person who tracked the most days without drinking during meals will win.
Hope to see you there.
Wendy
I had by original surgery in 1997. Four years ago I started feeling nauseous frequently and throwing up. It continued until it was daily. Massive tests were done and nothing was found. We decided something unseen must be wrong and that my bypass should be reversed. Now the Nausea is gone but I know from past (and present) that I will not be ablet o keep the weight off. Does anyone know if the bypass can be done again?
He saved my life. Not just with the bariatric surgery. I ended up with bowel obstruction and almost died. He was fantastic. The staff treated me great.
Dr. Oh left for medical reasons and Dr. Harai moved out of state.
I was also told it was for medical reasons. He was looking to well the last several times I saw him. He was a great surgson.
