Topic: RE: yay! Support Group in Marysville... join us!
I would be very interested in joining the group but the 1st Thursday of the month is the date of our American Legion Auxiliary meeting here in Lake Stevens. We meet from 7-9 and being on the board I have to attend. Are there any other times or dates that you meet? If not I totally understand and would be willing to possibly start one here in this area.
I am in the beginning of my journey, I have seen the surgeon and we have started the steps to get me to a surgery date. I am in need of this due to extreme health conditions.
I am looking forward to getting to know others in the area that understand and share in this journey.

I was in the hospital for 2 days after surgery.
I brought way too much stuff, and all I really needed was:
chapstick
cell phone
charger
body pillow
pjs
slippers
robe
sweats to go home in and shoes that slip on easily

Monthly Support Group for patients interested in a positive, safe environment to discuss issues, ask questions, share stories, and celebrate victories with weight loss surgery (all types welcome). Whether you are a current patient, are scheduled for surgery, or are just gathering information about weight-loss surgery then this is the place for you!

I couldnt tell you a specific time frame, but your pcm or surgeon should be able to get you a referral to see a plastic surgeon there. I had my initial consult scheduled 3 weeks ago for tomorrow and yet at 3 this afternoon got a call telling me they need to reschedule because the plastic surgeon is taking leave. So frustrating.... good luck

How do you start the process for a panni at madigan? How long do you have to wait after WLS to begin the process? Thanks for any input.

Hi ya'll
I hope that you all have been enjoying this nice weather by getting outside a little bit. I just thought I would pass along some of these local run/walks that are happening here in my local area with ya'll. I ran my first 5k on St Patty's day and I saw ppl of all abilities and shapes and sizes out there. Go take a look at the websites and then decide which ones you want to join in on. Then let me know. It would be fun to have a group of buddies to train with( even if its not together)
Ok this one is being held by the Olympia YMCA on may 1st( think)

I understand that. I have Group Health. Insurance, is the reason I didnt have the DS. They do not cover that surgery. Insurance helps us decide many things......unfortunately lol.. :)
